Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review project documentation, specifications, and calculations
  • Create and update P&IDs and equipment lists
  • Perform calculations for components and verify compliance with standards (e.g., EN161)
  • Coordinate with process and design engineering teams
  • Manage project specifications and risk analysis
  • Participate in project meetings, HAZOP reviews, and technical clarifications
  • Ensure completeness of documentation and adherence to internal standards
  • Support the manufacturing and procurement phases by preparing order specifications and validating suppliers

 

Additional Responsibilities (After Sales / Sales Engineering):

  • Handle spare part offers and after-sales inquiries
  • Organize services and commissioning activities
  • Support in creating offers, feasibility studies, and technical clarifications
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and validate vendors

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in project engineering, ideally in industrial or process-related systems
  • Familiarity with P&ID creation, dimensioning, and specification of equipment
  • Knowledge of engineering standards and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and engineering tools (e.g., EPLAN is a plus)

The position requires strong communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work in a global team environment. If you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of experience in storage tank design and engineering for the oil, gas, and chemical industries, we encourage you.

We offer a gross monthly salary of €3,100, with the possibility of overpayment depending on qualifications.
